Nuza (Original title: Nuza), Georgian: ნუცა, ( Нуца , Nutsa) is a Soviet fictional film that was shot in Georgia under the direction of Alexander Rechwijaschwili in 1971 based on the story The Stammlose by Mikheil Javachishvili .

September - Muza is a young orphan who grows up with a princess who is not particularly wealthy. When she dies, the heir, a servant and Muza dissolve their household by burning almost everything. The clergyman who attended the funeral is commissioned by the heir to sell the house. The girl's whereabouts have also already been clarified: she is to be married to the well builder Simon, which was agreed a long time ago. After the property has been locked, everyone involved goes their own way and Nuza disappears into the forest because she has no place to stay. The heir observes this, runs after her and rapes her.
October - Nuza is married to Simon and moves in with him on the farm where he lives with his mother. She subjects Nuza to a degrading procedure to determine if she is pregnant.
November - Simon is observed by a friend washing his shirt by the river and laughs at him because he has a wife whose job that would actually be. The two then fight. Back home, Nuza is beaten by the still angry Simon, although she also works and does not sit around.
March - Nuza goes to the forest to eat the poisonous berries of a bush.
Production and publication
The black and white film premiered in Moscow in 1972 , after having been shown in Tbilisi in 1971 . Like all Georgian films , Nuza was shot in the Georgian language and then dubbed in Russian for the other Soviet republics .
