At the O'Swaldkai terminal on the Kleiner Grasbrook south of the Norderelbe on the north side of the Hansahafen, which was built at the end of the 19th century, around 1000 employees handle logistics services on an area of 75 hectares. In addition to refrigerated goods, mainly Ro-Ro and Con- Ro ships are handled at the quays , and project cargoes and forest products also play an important role.

The terminal facilities are operated by Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG (HHLA) and Unikai Lagerei- und Speditionsgesellschaft , which is part of HHLA .
