O.Torwald ( Ukrainian О.Торвальд ) is a Ukrainian band .

history

O. Torwald was founded in Poltava in 2005 , but did not release the first commercial song until 2007.

In 2017 O.Torwald took part in the Ukrainian preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest with the song Time . In the preliminary round she was able to move into the final on February 18 with a second place each in tele and jury voting, where she was able to take the overall victory again on February 25 with two second places. Therefore, they represented Ukraine at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in their own country in Kiev , after Jamala was able to bring the competition into the country the year before . With 36 points, the band came in 24th out of 26 finalists.
