The Oak River is a river in the north of the Australian state of Queensland .

River course

The river has its source in the Newcastle Range in the Atherton Tablelands , which are part of the Great Dividing Range . From there it flows to the northeast and flows into the Copperfield River about 10 km south of the small town of Einasleigh .
