The Surgut Bridge over the Ob is located 14 km west-southwest of the city center of Surgut in the Siberian part of Russia . It is a two-lane cable - stayed bridge and with a length of 2070 meters (according to other information 2110 meters) one of the longest of its type in Siberia. The bridge was completed in 2000 after a five-year construction period and opened to traffic in September of that year. The main span is 408 meters and is the longest for a single-masted cable-stayed bridge. It runs almost in a north-south direction and crosses the river at right angles .

The bridge is used for car traffic. The federal road P 401 leads south-west to the neighboring city of Nefteyugansk, 50 kilometers away .

Parallel to this new construction, there is a steel framework railway bridge 50 meters to the east.

On the southern bank of the river, immediately to the west of the road, there is a museum that documents the construction of the bridge.
