The Upper Austrian Health Holding GmbH ( OÖG ) is the legal successor of the Upper Austrian. Gesundheits- und Spitals-AG ( spag ). SPAG, founded in 2001, was reorganized on October 1, 2018 to become Oberösterreichische Gesundheitsholding GmbH. The owner is the state of Upper Austria through OÖ Landesholding GmbH. The company is based in Linz and, in addition to the Kepler University Hospital , operates 6 regional clinics at 8 locations. The OÖG operates a school for health and nursing at each clinic location.
