Oberbachern is a district of the Bergkirchen municipality in the Upper Bavarian district of Dachau . The church village is about two kilometers north of Bergkirchen.

On May 1, 1978, the previously independent communities Eisolzried , Feldgeding , Lauterbach and Oberbachern were dissolved and merged with parts of the districts of the dissolved communities Günding and Kreuzholzhausen to form the new community Bergkirchen.
