Oberdagobertshausen

The former settlement of Oberdagobertshausen (also: Oberdabelshusen ) was about 1.5 kilometers southwest of the village center of Dagobertshausen , a current district of Malsfeld in the north Hessian Schwalm-Eder district .

The settlement was on the eastern slope of 392  m above sea level. NN high Hügelskopfs (formerly Heidelbergskopf). It was in the Thirty Years' War , probably by arson by Croatian rider in 1636, to the deserted village . At the Heydelberge, around 1725, in the place descriptions sent in on Landgrave Karl's orders, remains of the wall were found, which were interpreted as Oberdagobertshausen. Small remains and foundations can still be found in front of the large crater of the former basalt quarry .
