The Tierberg (also Oberer Berg , 981.8 m above sea level ) is a mountain bordering the Albstadt district of Lautlingen to the south , on which the former Altentierberg Castle of the Tierberger dynasty was located. The supply yard of the former castle is still located there today.
The Tierberg lies across the Eyachtal south across the Heersberg and southwest across the Ochsenberg and lies between the Gräbelesberg west and the Autenwang east. The Tierberg can be reached from the hiking car park in Lautlingen, or via the Alb plateau via Meßstetten .
