Obliers is a part of the local community Lind in the district of Ahrweiler in Rhineland-Palatinate . Until 1971, Obliers was an independent municipality.

history

The place Obliers belonged to the Dingstuhl Mutscheid pledged from Kurköln to the Lords of Wensburg in 1539 .

On March 30, 1971, the previously independent municipality of Obliers (58 inhabitants at the time) was dissolved and merged with Plittersdorf (101 inhabitants) and Lind (287 inhabitants) to form the new municipality of Lind .
