Odile Pierre (born March 12, 1932 in Pont-Audemer ; † February 29, 2020 ) was a French organist, composer and music teacher. From 1969 to 1979 she was titular organist of the Madeleine in Paris.

She received her first organ lessons at the age of seven. She studied at the Conservatories of Rouen and Paris. She was the last significant student of Marcel Dupré , as well as Rolande Falcinelli , Fernando Germani and Maurice Duruflé . Her studies were crowned with a total of seven first prizes in her organ classes.

From 1959 to 1969 she was professor at the Conservatory in Rouen and from 1981 to 1992 at the Conservatoire national de région de Paris; among her students were Michael Matthes and D'Arcy Trinkwon. In addition, she taught at the Scuola Internazionale Perfezionmento Musicale de Perugia and gave master classes worldwide. She was a judge at various international organ competitions. In her career she gave more than 2000 concerts. She is known for her extensive repertoire, which ranges from early music to contemporary music.

Celebrated as a " Clara Haskil of the organ", she made numerous sound recordings by various composers, including Bach , Saint-Saëns , Franck and Messiaen .

She is also known as a composer, her works include Fugue-scherzo pour quatuor à vent , Cantiques et airs bretons and Quatuor sur deux Noëls hongrois . She also published an edition of the works of Alexandre Guilmant .
