Jiangsu Rudong is an offshore wind farm in the People's Republic of China in the Yellow Sea . The wind farm was put into operation in different phases. A total of 80 wind turbines have an installed capacity of 201.3 MW . It has several types of wind turbines, since it serves as a demonstration project, and is located about five kilometers off the coast. The wind farm was projected by Jiangsu Longyuan Offshore Wind Power Co.
21 Siemens SWT-2.3-101 wind turbines with a total output of around 50 MW are installed in the wind farm . For Siemens it was the first offshore wind project outside of Europe.
Furthermore, 17 Sinovel SL3000 / 90, 40 Goldwind GW-109/2300 and 2 CSIC Haizhuang H154-5.0MW are installed.
