Willishausen is a place in the Swabian district of Augsburg . Since the regional reform of May 1, 1978, Willishausen has been one of the eight districts of the Diedorf market . history
The small village was first mentioned in a document in 1257. In the 15th century, the place came from private ownership to the Heilig-Geist-Spital in Augsburg and thus to the Obervogtamt in Gabelbach .
After a longer phase of changing claims to power and responsibilities, the second municipal edict of May 17, 1818 merged the towns of Willishausen, Hausen and Oggenhof to form the political municipality of Willishausen, which lasted until the 1978 regional reform . Since then, the village has been part of the Diedorf market.
