Oh! Calcutta! is an album of American punk rock - band The Lawrence Arms . It was founded in 2006 by the label Fat Wreck Chords released.
It is the band's fifth album and their third to be released by Fat Wreck Chords.
style
In contrast to the previous album The Greatest Story Ever Told (Cocktails & Dreams was just a collection of B-sides) Oh! Calcutta! much faster and more aggressive. The style is similar to that of the first albums A Guided Tour of Chicago and Ghost Stories . It is also noticeable that, unlike on previous albums, Kelly and McCaughan sang most of the songs in the choir.
