Oh Yeon-seo (born June 22, 1987 in Jinju , South Korea ) is a South Korean actress .

Life

Oh Yeon-seo began her career at the age of 15 as a member of the girl group Luv. The group released their first album in May 2002, entitled Story . However, Luv disbanded after half a year due to its low popularity. Oh then pursued a career as an actress. She first played the protagonist's older sister, played by Go Ara , in the high school drama Sharp (2003). In 2009 she had a big role in the horror film Yeogo Goedam 5 . However, the film flopped. Three years later she gained attention through a small role in the TV series My Husband Got a Family (2012). This secured her the lead role in the series Here Comes Mr. Oh and won two awards in the Best Actress category at the end of the year .
