Okan Koç (born January 22, 1982 in Sakarya ) is a Turkish national football player .

Career

He grew up with the Çanakkale Dardanelspor club . In 2002 he moved to Gençlerbirliği Ankara . There he was considered one of the greatest talents in Turkish football. In 2003 there was another move to Beşiktaş Istanbul , where he was noticeable not for his skills, but more for his extensive nightlife.

He is considered a great technician on the right wing, but has never been happy at Beşiktaş Istanbul. In the meantime he has been loaned to the MKE Ankaragücü and Konyaspor . He moved to Galatasaray Istanbul on a free transfer in January 2006 by terminating his contract due to outstanding salaries, which later turned out to be untrue. The Turkish Football Association declared the contract concluded with Galatasaray Istanbul to be void, so that he continued to play for the traditional Beşiktaş Istanbul club . It was then handed over to MKE Ankaragücü together with the transfer fee.
