Okinawa plate
The Okinawa Plate is a long, narrow tectonic plate . It extends from the northern end of Taiwan to the south of Kyushu . To the east of the plate is the Ryūkyū Trench and the Pacific Plate . It borders the Amur Plate to the north and is separated from the Yangtze Plate (often viewed as part of the Eurasian Plate ) in the west by the Okinawa Trench , which is a backarc basin .
