Okorukambe , formerly Steinhausen , is a constituency in the Omaheke region in central eastern Namibia . The administrative seat is the village of Witvlei . The district covers an area of 19,000 square kilometers and has only 10,060 inhabitants (as of 2011).
Other settlements in the constituency are Omitara and Summerdown as well as the Steinhausen settlement . Okorukambe is mainly agricultural due to its numerous commercial farms . The Harnas animal station is of particular interest to tourists . The Namibian-German Special Initiative is active in the constituency.
