Oksana Slavova (born October 27, 2001 in Vienna ) is an Austrian rhythmic gymnast of Ukrainian descent.

Life

Oksana Slavova first took ballet lessons as a child , and through her older sister Maria she got into rhythmic gymnastics. In 2011 and 2012 Slavova became Austrian youth champion. In 2018 she took part in the 36th Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships and reached 26th place among 61 nations with the Austrian national team. Slavova finished 96th out of 161 gymnasts at the World Championships.

family

Slavova was born into an academic family. Her father is the philologist Dmytro Slawow, her mother the mathematics lecturer Tatjana Slavova, her grandfather the mathematician and holder of the order of Prince Yaroslav Ivan Bejko (* 1937). Her brother Wadym (* 1984) is a former professional football player, her other brother Myroslaw Slawow (* 1990) continues to play football professionally. Her cousin Marta Kostjuk (* 2002) is a professional tennis player.
