Ola Svanberg (born June 10, 1985 in Tranemo ) is a Swedish ice hockey player who has been under contract with Borås HC in the Swedish HockeyAllsvenskan since 2010 .

Career

Ola Svanberg began his career as a hockey player in the youth of HV 71 Jönköping , for whose professional team he was active in the Elitserien from 2001 to 2007 . With the team he became Swedish champions in the 2003/04 season . He then moved in the course of the 2006/07 season to Rögle BK in the second-rate HockeyAllsvenskan , in which he remained after the end of the season, where he ran up in the 2007/08 season for their league rivals IK Oskarshamn . In the summer of 2008, the defender received a contract with the first division club Brynäs IF , for which he gave two assists in 43 games in the 2008/09 season . Towards the end of the season he moved to the second division VIK Västerås HK , where he played for a year and a half. He also started the 2009/10 season at VIK Västerås HK and finished it at Vita Hästen HC in third-class Division 1 .

He has been playing for Borås HC in HockeyAllsvenskan since the 2010/11 season .

International

For Sweden , Svanberg took part in the U18 Junior World Championship in 2003 and the U20 Junior World Championship in 2005 .
