Olaf Didolff

Olaf Didolff (born September 16, 1971 in Düren ) is a German singer , composer , producer and songwriter.

Didolff studied musicology in Cologne, where he now lives.

With his first band Chester , he had a record deal with BMG in the mid-1990s , where he released several singles and an album. After an extensive European tour, the band decided to move to London in 1999. He stayed there for eleven years. During this time he worked as a producer, songwriter and released several records on the Setanta label with his indie UK act The Tacticians . In addition to collaborations with Edwyn Collins , Neil Hannon ( The Divine Comedy ) and Richard Hawley , the band toured Europe, Japan and the USA. In addition to commercials for BMW, Siemens & Sennheiser, the compositions and publications are also in films such as Der Himmel Can Wait , Vergiss Amerika , Maid of Honor (In love with the bride), and in German and US TV series such as Tatort or Kyle XY to hear.

Didolff composes music for film and advertising and writes songs for successful national and international artists. In addition to image films and TV spots for BMW, Vodafone, Toyota and Siemens, his compositions and songs can also be heard in numerous national and international films, TV programs and documentaries.

He runs an agency based in Cologne called Songbureau .
