Ole Østmo (born September 13, 1866 in Elverum , † September 11, 1923 in Oslo ) was a Norwegian sports shooter .

Ole Østmo moved to Oslo when he was in his early twenties , where he shot for Christiania Skytterlag throughout his career . At the first world championships in Lyon in 1897 , he became world champion over 300 m with the army rifle in the standing position, and he also took second place in the three-position fight in individual and with the team. He was third in the prone position. Østmo took part in the 1900 Olympic Games in Paris and competed in five disciplines. In the kneeling position with the army rifle over 300 m, he did not get beyond 15th place, in the lying position he took third place with 329 points. In the standing position he was second with 299 points behind Lars Jørgen Madsen , who scored 305 points. In the three-position fight he got a total of 917 points, so that he finished third together with Paul van Asbroeck with the same number of points . In the team competition of the three-position fight, he was second with the Norwegian team. With 4290 points, they were over 100 points behind the winners from Switzerland and twelve points ahead of the third-placed French. The International Shooting Sport Federation evaluates the shooting competition at the games in 1900 as a world championship.
