Ole Erik Gunnar Petersen (born December 30, 1934 in Frederiksberg ) is a former Danish sailor .

Ole Gunnar Petersen took Hans Fogh at the 1960 Olympic Games in Rome and 1964 in Tokyo in the boat class Flying Dutchman part. In 1960 they finished second behind Bjørn Bergvall and Peder Lunde junior from Norway and ahead of the Germans Rolf Mulka and Ingo von Bredow . They received the silver medal with a total of 5991 points. Four years later, finishing fourth, they just missed another medal win. Petersen was a member of the Hellerup Sejlklub .
