Bjørn Bergvall took part in the 1960 Olympic Games in Rome in the Flying Dutchman boat class . Together with Peder Lunde junior he took first place in front of Hans Fogh and Ole Gunnar Petersen as well as Rolf Mulka and Ingo von Bredow . They became Olympic champions with a total of 6774 points . Bergvall is a member of the Kongelig Norsk rope forum .
