Bjørn Bergvall took part in the 1960 Olympic Games in Rome in the Flying Dutchman boat class . Together with Peder Lunde junior he took first place in front of Hans Fogh and Ole Gunnar Petersen as well as Rolf Mulka and Ingo von Bredow .
