Ole Nielsen

Ole Gammelgaard Nielsen (born November 20, 1965 in Silkeborg , Jutland ) is a Danish archer .

Nielsen competed in two Olympic Games . In 1988 in Seoul he was 56th in the individual and reached 11th place with the team. At the 1992 games in Barcelona he was much better than 26th in the individual start; however, the team could only reach 12th place.

Nielsen started for Holstebro Bueskytteforening .

Nielsen was used at the European and World Championships in 1988, took first place in the ranking of European archers in 1992 and third place worldwide (as in the previous year). Since 1997, Nielsen has worked as national coach and team manager for later Olympic Games.
