Oleg Ivenko

Oleg Ivenko ( Russian Олег Ивенко , also transcribed Oleg Ivenko ; born August 14, 1996 ) is a Russian ballet dancer of Ukrainian origin. Since 2014 he has been a solo dancer of the M.Jalil Tatar State Academic Opera in Kazan . He bears the title of Honored Artist of Tatarstan .

Ivenko graduated from the Kharkiv Choreographic School in 2006 and from the Belarusian State Choreographic College in 2010 . In 2015 the Kazan Ballet performed at the Théatre Alexandre Dumas in Saint-Germain-en-Laye with Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet and Ivenko in the role of Mercutio.

In 2016 Ivenko went on a European tour with the Kazan Ballet, which started in Toulon , led to six European countries and performed a total of 64 stage appearances. The program included The Nutcracker , Swan Lake , Sleeping Beauty and Don Quixote . The two stations in Germany were Wolfsburg ( The Nutcracker ) and Remscheid ( Don Quixote ).

Ivenko plays the role of Nureyev in Ralph Fiennes ' film The White Crow . The script for the film is based on the novel "Rudolf Nureyev: The Life" by Julie Kavanagh .

  • 2011: International Tanzolymp, Berlin; Silver medal ( pas de deux with Kristina Andrejewa in age group 3, (13-15 years))
  • 2014: 1st Prize International Ballet Competition in Krasnoyarsk
  • 2014: Grand Prix - 5th Yuri Grigorovich International Competition “Young ballet of the world” in Sochi
