Oleg Leonidowitsch Lyalin ( Russian Оле́г Леони́дович Ля́лин ; * 1903 in St. Petersburg ; † June 12, 1974 in Leningrad ) was a Soviet architect .

Oleg Lyalin, son of the professor of the Leningrad Polytechnic University Leonid Mikhailovich Lyalin and his wife Nadezhda Porfirjewna, studied architecture with LV Rudnew at the Leningrad Artistic-Technical University (successor to the Russian Art Academy ) . Lyalin's teachers included the academy members L. N. Benois , IA Fomin and WA Shchuko as well as professors Ernests Štālbergs and WG Helreichen . In 1926 he received the architect diploma.

1925-1934 Ljalin built the Leningrad Dynamo Stadium together with JO Swirski . 1928-1930 he built together with LW Rudnew, JO Swirski and II Fomin the Moskowsko-Narwski pension center in the style of Leningrad constructivism and with LW Rudnew, JO Swirski and EA Lewinson the Nevsky pension center.

At the Muchina Arts and Crafts Academy (the former and current Stieglitz Arts and Crafts Academy ), Ljalin always gave a course in composition. One of his students was WS Lukyanov , creator of the obelisk "Hero City Leningrad" .
