Oleg Nikolayevich Komissarov ( Russian Олег Николаевич Комиссаров * 28. December 1982 in Balakovo , Soviet Union ) is a former Russian boxer in the Light Welterweight .
successes
Oleg Komissarov won a bronze medal at the 2002 Military World Championships in Ireland and a silver medal at the 2003 Military World Games in Italy . At the 2005 World Championships in China, he lost in the first fight against Boris Georgiev (17:23).
At the 2005 World Cup in Russia he won the gold medal with a final victory over Carlos Banteur (30:25). In 2006 he won the silver medal at the European Championships in Bulgaria . He beat Gyula Káté (TKO) in the semifinals and was only eliminated again in the final against Boris Georgiew (17:25).
At the national level, he was the Russian junior champion in 2000 and the Russian runner-up in 2004 and 2006.
