Oleksandriwka ( Ukrainian Олександрівка ; Russian Александровка Alexandrowka ) is a village in the Ukrainian Chernihiv Oblast with about 750 inhabitants (2001).
The village was founded in 1650 and is the administrative center of the district council of the same name in the south of Korjukivka district , to which the villages Verkholissja ( Верхолісся ) and Pisky ( Піски ) belong. The village is located about 70 km east of the Oblastzentrum Chernihiv and about 20 km southwest of the Rajonzentrum Koriukivka .
Personalities
The Kiev mayor and rector of the University of Kiev Nikolai Karlowitsch Rennenkampff was born in the village in 1832 .
