Olga Selesnjowa ( Russian Ольга Селезнёва ; born June 7, 1975 in Qostanai ) is a former Kazakh cross-country skier and biathlete .

Olga Seleznjowa was also active as a swimmer and gymnast at the national level. Initially, she competed in cross-country skiing. There she made her international debut in an FIS race in Yabuli in 1996 . A year later, further races followed in Norway in the lower-class cross-country skiing Continental Cup , before the Kazakh woman contested her first international championship in Trondheim as part of the Nordic World Ski Championships. She finished 57th over the 5-kilometer classic, finished 55th in the pursuit race and came in 48th over the 30-kilometer classic. After the World Championships, she also made her debut in the Cross-Country World Cup in Falun . Neither in her first race over the 5-kilometer freestyle as 74th nor in the following four World Cup races did she get into the points, the best result was a 57th place over the 30-kilometer freestyle in Oslo . The high point of his career was participation in the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano . Selesnjowa was over the 5-kilometer classic 66th, in the pursuit 63rd and over 30-kilometer freestyle 52. Until 2001, after the games only followed in lower class races.

For the 2004/05 season Selesnyova switched to biathlon. She made her international debut at the 2005 European Biathlon Championships in Novosibirsk , where she was 15th in the individual, 18th in the sprint and 20th in the pursuit race. The 2005 biathlon world championships in Hochfilzen marked the end of a career . The Kazakh was 76th of the individual, 83rd of the sprint and alongside Jelena Dubok , Tatjana Masunina and Anna Lebedewa 19th in the relay race.
