Oliver Bono (born April 29, 1966 in Lachen ) is a Swiss journalist and TV producer .

Life

Oliver Bono grew up in Lachen on Lake Zurich . After 5 years at the Christ König Kollegium in Nuolen SZ, Bono moved to the Zurich Acting Academy (now the Zurich University of the Arts), where he graduated from a university of applied sciences. He then joined Radio Sunshine as a moderator and editor and joined Swiss Radio DRS 3 via Radio Zürisee .

In March 1996 Bono switched to Swiss television . There he moderated the sports background program time out until 2001 , for which he also produced background reports in England, France, Holland / Belgium, Iran and Israel, among others. At the same time, Bono was active in broadcasting the Olympic Games , for example for the programs Nagano aktuell , Salt Lake update and Sidney aktuell . During his time with “10vor10” Bono was regularly responsible for important special programs. He planned, realized and produced live broadcasts on site from the City of London (UK parliamentary elections June 8 + 9, 2017, moderation: Arthur Honegger), from the Bernese hotel “Bellevue” (the evening before the Federal Council election on September 19, 2017 , Moderation: Arthur Honegger), on the occasion of the US midterm elections from Georgetown, Kentucky and Washington DC (November 6/7, 2018, moderation: Arthur Honegger) and 1 month before the federal elections on September 19, 2019 from Bundesplatz Bern (moderation: Susanne Wille).

With the introduction of the specialist editorial team at SRF TV (from November 2018), Bono worked as an editor and author for the national and international editorial team.

As of May 2020, Bono will regularly take over the current daily domestic coordination (KOF) in the SRF TV newsroom (programs “Schweiz aktuell”, “Tagesschau” and “10vor10”) in addition to the previous functions.

Oliver Bono is married and lives with his family in Zofingen .
