Oliver Erens

Oliver Erens (born February 2, 1967 in Heidelberg ) is a German doctor , publicist , magician and author .

Life

Erens attended the chestnut school in St. Leon-Rot and then the Walldorf high school . He studied medicine at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main . With Harald Klepzig he did his doctorate on the subject of "Frequency and treatment of subacute cardiovascular complications after percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty". Since then he has worked as a doctor in Langen, Munich and Stuttgart . He is head of the public relations and communication department of the Baden-Württemberg State Medical Association (as of 2013). Erens is chairman of the Association of Medical and Science Journalists.

He is married and has two children.

Services

He actively pursued his hobby, the art of magic, in addition to school and study. Since then he has increasingly concentrated on writing about magic. Since 1995 he has published specialist books on the art of magic, for which he was honored in 1996 with the title of Writer of the Year . From 2004 to 2011 he was editor of the magazine MAGIE of the Magical Circle of Germany.
