Oliver Halmburger

Oliver Halmburger (* 1971 in Munich ) is a German documentary filmmaker specializing in contemporary history documentaries. He has been working for television ( ZDF , ARD , Arte and others) since 1992 . Since 2001 he has been the managing director of Loopfilm GmbH in Munich-Schwabing .

Award

In 2010 he received the History Makers Award for Busting the Berlin Wall in the Best History Production category . The film was also awarded a gold medal at the New York Festival . At the 2012 Romy Awards , he and Heinrich Mayer-Moroni were honored in the category Best Producer TV Documentation for Der Wettlauf zum Südpol .
