Oliver Narr-Bolduan (born July 21, 1976 in Konstanz ) is a former German basketball player . In the basketball Bundesliga , the 2.22 meter tall center player was under contract with Freiburg, Bamberg and Trier. He also played in the Italian Serie A .

Career

He first played handball and started playing basketball in Singen at the age of 18. In 1997, the left-hander moved from Tuttlingen to the newly promoted USC Freiburg . The Italian top club Benetton Treviso became aware of the long inside player and brought him to Serie A for the 1998/99 season . Fool came in Treviso under start coach Željko Obradović not beyond the role of supplementary player and was only used in two league games in which he scored a total of six points. On the way to winning the European club competition Saporta Cup 1999, he played in five games (2.2 points on average).

For the 1999/2000 season, Narr was signed by Treviso's Serie A competitor Canturina Cantù , for whom he played five games before returning to Germany in October 1999 and was obliged by Bundesliga club TSK Bamberg .

After two years in Bamberg, Narr moved back to Freiburg and played for the Breisgauer in the 2001/02 season in the 2nd Bundesliga. His good performances brought him again the interest of a Bundesliga club: In 2002 Narr signed with TBB Trier , where he played until the end of the 2003/04 season and then joined the regional league team KGJ Schwenningen . He was active in Schwenningen until 2006. In the 2008/09 season he played again in Schwenningen and took over as coach during the season.

In January 2009, Narr told the newspaper Volksfreund about his basketball career and the lack of a major breakthrough: “I just didn't have enough playing time. And I, as a lateral entrant, would have really needed it. "
