Oliver Schruoffeneger (born May 30, 1962 in Berlin ) is a German political scientist and politician of the Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen Berlin party.

Life

Oliver Schruoffeneger studied political science at the Free University of Berlin after graduating from high school and graduated in 1993.

From 1985 to 2001 he was a district councilor in the Reinickendorf district and from 1994 to 2001 as a research assistant for the parliamentary group of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen in the Berlin House of Representatives .

From 2001 to 2011 he was a member of the Berlin state parliament. He was again a member of the House of Representatives from November 14, 2013, when he replaced the resigned Özcan Mutlu , until his resignation on May 12, 2016.

In May 2016 he was elected district councilor for youth, family, school, sport and the environment in the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district. Since November 2016, he has been the city councilor for urban development, building and the environment in Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf with the responsibilities for the urban development office, the road and green space office, the environmental and nature conservation office and facility management as well as the EU commissioner.
