Oliver Stierle (born June 13, 1983 in Stuttgart ) is a German soccer player .

Career

Via the youth clubs ASV Botnang and Sportvg Feuerbach , Stierle came to the regional league team Stuttgarter Kickers in 2001 , for whom - from his second season - he played 148 games, scored eight goals and held the office of team captain.

He was also used twice in games (against Hamburger SV ) for the DFB Cup : on August 20, 2005 they lost at home with 1: 5 goals and on September 9, 2006 they won 4: 3 goals after extra time each in the first round.

Although qualified for the newly created 3rd division , Stierle switched to the third division team of FC Bayern Munich and justified his decision as follows: “I want to develop myself further at FC Bayern, both personally and personally. [...] FC Bayern is always an eye-catcher from various scouts , and if you perform well, you are immediately in the second division , if not in the Bundesliga . "

He made his professional debut for FC Bayern Munich II on July 27, 2008 (1st matchday) in a 2-1 win at home against 1. FC Union Berlin ; in two years he completed 22 third division games.

In the summer of 2010 he returned to the Stuttgarter Kickers in the Regionalliga Süd . He justifies the apparent step backwards as follows: "All other inquiries - including those from the 3rd division - couldn't top my emotional strength with the Kickers." However, he only made nine regional league appearances and played for the second from the 2011/12 season Team in the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg . For the 2013/14 season he moved to SV Göppingen in the Württemberg Association League and played five point games. After two more seasons, in which he played 29 point games and scored one goal, the promotion to the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg was certain. In this he completed 30 of 34 point games; However, remained without a goal. In summer 2020 he returned to his youth club ASV Botnang .
