Olivia Scriven

Olivia Scriven (* 28. February 1997 in Wakefield , Quebec as Olivia Scriven Ruby ) is a Canadian actress and singer .

life and career

Scriven was born in Wakefield, Québec , in February 1997 . At a young age, she moved with her family to London in the province of Ontario . There Scriven attended the Pearson School for the Arts public elementary school. She then went to HB Beal Secondary School before deciding to become an actress at the age of 13.

Scriven began her career with the miniseries The Yard . From February 2012 to July 2015, Scriven played Maya Matlin in the Canadian youth series Degrassi: The Next Generation . After hiring Degrassi: The Next Generation , Scriven takes on the same role in the sequel Degrassi: The Next Generation . The television series has been available on Netflix since January 2016.

At the end of 2015 she presented her own band, "Cute Whore", which she founded with her Degrassi colleague Lyle Lettau.
