Career

From 1996 on, Olivier Blondel played for FC Rouen . From there he moved in 1998 to the then first division club Le Havre AC . Even after relegation to Ligue 2 in 2000, he only played the reservist role and made a total of 12 missions by 2007. The 2007/08 season Blondel spent with the club's second team in the first amateur league , which corresponds to the fourth division. Here he came on 21 missions in one year. For the new 2008/09 season he joined the first division club FC Toulouse . Here, too, he only played the role of reservist, in the current season he came on only one mission. In 2009/10 he came to nine games because of an injury to goalkeeper Yohann Pelé at the beginning of the season. He then broke an ankle in early December 2009. After the injury of Pelé and the injury of the other substitute goalkeeper Marc Vidal Blondel was the third goalkeeper in the team, who was out for several months at the same time.

In the summer of 2010, Blondel moved to ES Troyes AC in the Ligue 2. There he stayed for two years and made 50 league games before joining the first division club FC Toulouse in the summer of 2012 . In 2015 he signed a one-year contract with Racing Strasbourg .
