Olle Lönnaeus

Olle Lönnaeus (born January 17, 1957 in Värnamo ) is a Swedish journalist and writer .

Life

Lönnaeus was born in Värnamo in the Swedish province of Jönköpingslän and the historic province of Småland . At the age of three he moved with his parents and older sister to Tomelilla in the Österlen region , where he grew up. After training as a lawyer, he changed his profession and became a journalist. He has worked for the newspaper Sydsvenska Dagbladet in Malmö for more than twenty years and writes on political and social topics. For his investigative reporting series, he won the Guldspade Journalist Prize three times and was nominated once for the Great Journalist Prize (Stora journalistpriset).

He made his debut in 2009 with the crime novel Det som ska sonas , which received good reviews and was awarded the Swedish Crime Prize. One year later, the novel Mike Larssons rumliga hjärta was published , which, like his fourth novel Jonny Liljas skuld, published in 2014, was nominated for the crime novel of the year by the Svenska Deckarakademin. In between, his third novel En enda sanning was published in 2012 . The first three novels are mainly set in the place of his childhood Tomelilla, whereby the characters are of a fictional nature. His books have so far been published in nine languages ​​and ten countries.

Lönnaeus lives in Lund , is married and has a daughter and a son.
