Oliver Marsten "Ollie" Sansen (* 6. March 1908 in Alta , Iowa ; † 21st March 1987 in San Lorenzo , California ) was an American American football player . He played fullback in the National Football League (NFL) for the Brooklyn Dodgers .

Player career

Oliver Sansen studied from 1929 to 1931 at the University of Iowa , where he played fullback football . One of his teammates was the future professional player Oran Pape . In 1930 and 1931, his college elected him the MVP of the football team. In all three years of study, his college honored him for his athletic achievements. In the game year 1931 he acted as the team captain of the "Iowa Hawkeyes". In 1932, Sansen joined the Brooklyn Dodgers, who were trained by Benny Friedman that year . Ollie Sansen was paid at $ 160 per game. He ended his playing career in 1935. He did not win a title with the Dodgers.
