At the 2010 Summer Youth Olympic Games in Singapore , four competitions in canoe racing and canoe slalom were held from August 21st to 25th . The canoe racing competitions took place after time laps as a two-man race over 420 m in the knockout system and as a flat water slalom in the reservoir of the Marina Reservoir. The participants had to compete in both disciplines.
