At the 2010 Summer Youth Olympic Games in Singapore , two equestrian competitions were held from August 18 to 24 . The competitions took place at the Singapore Turf Riding Club .

The riders did not start with their own horses , but with rental horses that were drawn to them.

The final competitions were held on August 24th.

• The only rider who did not make mistakes over all three rounds of the individual classification was the gold medalist Marcelo Chirico. The runner-up Mario Gamboa also made no mistakes in the first two laps, but earned 14 penalty points in the final jump-off for first place. The six participants, who had to score four penalty points after the first two laps, started in a second jump-off. This jump-off was won by Dalma Rushdi Malhas , who was also the first woman from Saudi Arabia to take part in Olympic competitions.
