Youth Olympic Summer Games 2014 / Riding

At the 2014 Summer Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing , two equestrian competitions were held from August 19 to 24, 2014 . The competitions took place at the Nanjing International Exhibition Center .

The horses were drawn to the riders three days before the start of the competitions. The sporting director of the show jumping competitions in Nanjing was Lars Meyer zu Bexten .

The final competitions were held on August 24th.

The two first placed Fraser and Campi remained clear over all three laps, so that the time in the jump-off decided on the gold and silver medal. The bronze medalist Hunter and the fourth-placed Sabrina Rivera Meza also made no mistakes in the first two rounds, but scored 4 and 8 points in the jump-off, respectively.

In the team classification, the riders were divided into six continental teams of five starters each. Of the five riders per team, the three best results per lap were considered.
