The women's Alpine Combination at the 1948 Winter Olympics was held from February 2nd to 4th in the Corviglia ski area . The competition consisted of a downhill run and two slalom runs . For the downhill run, the times of the downhill race , which took place on February 2nd, were counted. The slalom runs were held on February 4th. The times were converted into points in all three runs.

Trude Beiser from Austria, who had already won silver in the downhill race , became Olympic champion . Gretchen Fraser from the United States took silver in front of Beiser's compatriot Erika Mahringer , who won bronze.
