Olympic Winter Games 2018 / Curling / Qualification
The qualification in curling for the Olympic Winter Games 2018 was based on the following criteria:
- A home team from South Korea is allowed to participate in each tournament .
- Seven teams that have qualified through the qualification points at the world championships are allowed to participate in each tournament .
- Two teams that have qualified through the qualifying tournament in Pilsen 2017 are allowed to participate in the tournaments for women and men .

For the two tournaments for women and men, seven of the ten starting places were awarded on the basis of a point system that takes into account the results of the World Championships in 2016 and 2017 . Two other participants were identified in the course of a qualifying tournament that took place in Pilsen from December 5 to 10, 2017 . All nations that did not achieve enough qualification points in the 2016 and 2017 World Championships or took part in the 2014 or 2015 World Championships or placed third in the Pacific Asia Championship were eligible to participatein the current Olympic cycle. China and Denmark qualified for women and Denmark and Italy for men. The two South Korean teams will receive the last starting place as hosts. The selections of Scotland participate in the Games as representatives of Great Britain.
The point system weighted the results of the last two world championships equally. The world champion received 14 points each, the losing finalist 12, the third-placed 10, the fourth-placed 9, the fifth-placed 8, up to the twelfth-placed, who got one point.

Mixed doubles
For the mixed doubles tournament, seven of the eight starting places after the above. Awarded a point system that incorporated the results of the Mixed Doubles World Championships in 2016 and 2017 . The host country South Korea took eighth place on the grid.
