The Omelchenko Bay ( Russian бухта Омельченко Buchta Omeltschenko ) is a bay off the East Antarctic George V coast . It is located northwest of Krichak Bay in the western section of the Cook Ice Shelf .
Russian scientists named them after Anton Lukitsch Omelchenko (1883-1932), Russian participant in the Terra Nova expedition (1910-1932) of the British polar explorer Robert Falcon Scott .
