The Onda ( Russian Онда ) is a river in the Republic of Karelia in Russia . It has a length of 197 km and a catchment area of 4080 km².
It has its origin northwest of Lake Ondosero . It flows mainly in a southerly direction to the Ondosero. Then she turns to the east and reached the Ondskoje -Stausee, a northern extension of the Lake Vygozero . The last 7 km of its lower reaches are part of the hydropower plant cascade between Vygosero and the White Sea .
