Only You is a British romance film directed by Harry Wootliff , who also wrote the script. The film premiered at the BFI London Film Festival on October 19, 2018 and was released in cinemas in the United Kingdom on July 12, 2019.

In Glasgow. Elena and Jake fall head over heels in love after a one-night stand on New Year's Eve. After a few weeks they are already living together and shortly afterwards they are trying to have a child. The film was produced by Matthieu de Braconier together with Tristan Goligher from The Bureau, Rachel Dargavel from Crybaby and Claire Mundell from Synchronicity Films.

Only You is the feature film debut from screenwriter and director Harry Wootliff, whose short film Nits premiered in Cannes in 2004 and received a BAFTA nomination. Her second short film Trip premiered in 2008 at the Berlinale.

In Only You takes Josh O'Connor the role of Jake. O'Connor said: “It's a love story, but it's dealing with a couple trying to conceive. It's myself and Laia Costa — I think you know her from a film called Victoria, which was filmed all in one shot. Only You was really special. It's very different from God's Own Country and a very different character for me. "

The shooting took place in Glasgow . They started on September 19, 2017 and ended on October 22, 2017.

In January 2018, the production company The Bureau released the first photos from the film. The premiere took place on October 19, 2018 at the BFI London Film Festival . At the end of June 2019 it was shown in the International Independents series at the Munich Film Festival . The film was released in cinemas in the United Kingdom on July 12, 2019.
