ooVoo was telephone and video conference software similar to Skype . ooVoo uses a proprietary transmission protocol for IP telephony which is not compatible with open SIP or the - likewise proprietary - Skype protocol. The program was published in 2007 and now has more than 75 million users worldwide. However, operations ceased in November 2017.
