Base of operations in Bischofswerda

The Bischofswerda base of operations was located in the diving forest near Uhyst am Taucher in the Bautzen district . From 1984 rockets of the type SS-12 of the group of the Soviet armed forces in Germany were stationed here. In detail, there were eight launch vehicles, six launch devices and four training missiles. The rockets were withdrawn in 1988 and relocated to the Caucasus (Gombori / Georgia ).
